WM Brown Memorial Scholarship Fund
For their 20th anniversary, Felicia and Jermaine Seamón of the Seamón Family Foundation are asking for donations of at least $20 to support the Wadiya Maria Brown Memorial Scholarship Fund started to commemorate their friend.
Wadiya (Felicia’s best friend since childhood, and the person who also introduced Jermaine to Felicia while they were all college students at the 1st HBCU, Cheyney University of Pennsylvania) was murdered as a result of the breakdowns in the mental health system.
We will always remember, though small in stature, Wadiya was astronomical in Knowledge, and remained a lifelong advocate of education. Proceeds will benefit youth scholarships and mental health awareness programming and support, in Wadiya’s Honor.
The Seamón Family Foundation would like to thank the artists, Dane Brown and Gilbert Young, for donating pieces to Wadiya's memorial scholarship fund.
